Background

Jason holds an LLB from The University of Hong Kong (HKU) Faculty of Law. He started as a tax-and-legal intern at KPMG Hong Kong in Hysan Place, then moved into regulatory advisory for SFC Type 1 and Type 9 licensees. In 2019 he opened the Crypto License Asia Hong Kong office and has since led VATP and HKMA stablecoin filings, including coordination work alongside the first wave of approvals issued in the 2024–2026 cycle.
