Background

James holds an LLB from the University of Sydney Law School. He started as a tax-and-regulatory intern at KPMG Australia in Tower Three, Barangaroo, Sydney, then joined a Sydney financial-services firm advising AFSL holders. He joined Crypto License Asia in 2021 and has since led DCE registrations and the firm's preparation for the ASIC AFSL DAP regime that received Royal Assent on 8 April 2026 and commences 9 April 2027.
