Hemi Walker
Hemi runs the New Zealand practice. He leads FSP Registration, DIA AML/CFT supervision, FMA Financial Markets Conduct Act licensing for financial-product tokens, and the OECD Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework data-collection workstream from 1 April 2026.
Background
Hemi holds an LLB from the University of Auckland Faculty of Law. He started as a legal intern at Deloitte NZ in Deloitte Centre, Queen Street, Auckland, then served as a regulatory associate at an Auckland mid-tier firm on FMC Act matters. He joined Crypto License Asia in 2022 and has since led FSP plus DIA AML/CFT registrations and the firm's FMA derivatives-issuer engagements for retail-facing crypto-derivative platforms.
